Andy and Jane say farewell: “The friendship we’ve received and what the fellowship means to us is too much to express in a few short lines. Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. Our emotions are very mixed … the sadness and reluctance of saying goodbye and the looking forward to the adventure of the next step which we believe God has called us to, still with a lot of unknowns (including our move date). When we know more, we’ll let you know our contact details and we’ll look forward to welcoming people to Sudbury (Suffolk) and hopefully to Foxearth Meadows Nature Reserve, for which we’ll be taking on the voluntary role (together) of Community Engagement Officer”.
Following the farewell day:
Andy says thank you: I don’t really enjoy saying goodbyes but the wonderful lunch and afternoon service and the number of people who came and all the different contributions people made on the day made it a very special and happy occasion for Jane, Ruth and me. We feel very blessed and encouraged as we look forward to the next step in our calling.
Thank you to everyone and thank you for the very generous gifts. We’ll look forward to using the cheque(s) to help us to settle into our new home. We hope we’ll be able to welcome visitors from MK there once we’ve settled in. They’ll be able to relax in the garden on the splendid bench and be reminded of Bradwell by Paul’s beautiful photo.
Thank you for all your friendship and fellowship in the gospel over many years.
